Hot Stone Massage is an excellent way to treat deep muscle tissue, induce relaxation and aid in the reduction of joint discomfort.

During a hot stone massage; smooth, flat, heated stones are placed on specific parts of your body while the therapist uses others to massage the areas they are working on. 

The stones are usually made of basalt, a type of volcanic rock that retains heat and are heated up usually between 120º to 145º in a water filled stone warmer. 

This heat helps you relax and will aid in easing tense muscles and damaged soft tissues throughout your body.
